Three steps, about a minute.

1. Get your private link. It appears right after checkout and in your welcome email. Keep it like a password.
2. Add it to Claude. Settings → Connectors → Add custom connector. Paste the link and name it TradingMCP. Works on every Claude plan, including free, and the connector follows you to the mobile app.

Does it trade for me?

No. It is read-only and never connects to a broker or exchange account.

How fresh is the data?

Crypto is live. Stocks, FX and futures can be delayed by their exchanges, as with most market data outside a broker.

Can the AI make numbers up?

Prices and indicators come from the data tools at the moment you ask, not from the model's memory. As with any AI answer, check anything you act on.

Which AI apps does it work with?

Any app that can add a remote MCP server: Claude on web, desktop and mobile, ChatGPT (developer mode), Cursor, Copilot, Cline and others. The same link works everywhere.

How is this different from TradingView's own MCP?

They do different jobs. As of October 2026:

• Analysis, not just data. TradingMCP runs multi-timeframe analysis, walk-forward backtests, smart-money and volume scans, and draws charts in the chat. TradingView's MCP returns quotes, bars, screeners and a single-timeframe technical rating; its docs list no backtesting or charting tool.
• Nothing else to subscribe to. TradingView's MCP is included with paid TradingView plans (Essential and higher). TradingMCP is $9 a month on its own.

Where theirs is the better pick: fundamentals and analyst estimates, SEC filings and earnings transcripts, editing your TradingView watchlists and alerts, and official first-party data. The two can run side by side in the same assistant.
