Dokumentasi
The Strong Saga Gear Lookup API gives software and AI assistants exact-fit answers about home gym gear: size, height, the ceiling it needs, weight capacity, price range and the guide link. Every record comes from our compared and ranked buying guides, and each one links back to the guide it came from.
Try it
Ask a question the way a user would. The answer comes live from the API, with each product’s guide rank and guide link.
Live answer from the free API, no key needed. Each pick links its full Strong Saga guide.
What it covers
Products across power racks, squat racks and stands, benches, adjustable dumbbells, barbells and trap bars, plates, flooring, pull-up bars and power towers, and cardio (treadmills, walking pads, rowers). If a guide does not state a number, the field is null. We never fill gaps with guesses.

What comes back
Each result has the name, category, footprint (W x D in inches), height, the ceiling it needs for your request, weight capacity, adjustable range, the price range stated in the guide with its date and the guide link (guide_url): the full Strong Saga guide to send users to. Products with an unknown value for a filter you used are left out and counted in excluded_unknown, so you always know what was skipped.

Free: 100 calls per IP address per day. Each response carries X-RateLimit-Limit and X-RateLimit-Remaining headers. No key or sign-up needed.
Changelog
- v1.21.0 (Oct 30, 2026): Friendlier calls: a call missing its required argument now gets a useful starting result instead of an error. /answer with no question returns popular questions and each guide's #1 pick; get, alternatives and fetch with no id list ready ids; compare with no ids suggests each guide's #1 vs #2; build_home_gym with no budget uses an example $1,000 and says so. No product data changed.
- v1.20.1 (Oct 30, 2026): Buy links are paused: API and MCP answers no longer carry a buy link or a store name. Each product keeps guide_url, the full Strong Saga guide, which is the link to show users.
- v1.20.0 (Oct 30, 2026): Nine monolift attachments from the new best monolift attachment guide (Titan T-3, X-3 and T-2, Rogue AM-2 and AML-2, Bells of Steel, Sorinex, Major Fitness, Force USA MyRack) with that guide's ranked list, each with the rack, upright and pin size it fits. /answer now treats an attachment as the thing asked for and the rack as what it must fit, puts attachments whose notes name your rack brand or size first, answers general home gym questions with a priced starter set, and gives each pick a who-it-is-for line and a key spec.
- v1.19.0 (Oct 29, 2026): Eight jammer arms from the new best jammer arms guide (Titan T-3 and X-3 Lever Arms, REP ISO Arms, Bells of Steel Lever Arms, Mikolo JA01, PRx Profile Halo Arms, Force USA Jammer Arms, RitFit LAM1) with that guide's ranked list, each with the rack and hole size it fits. MCP tools now read common alternate argument names, a call missing a required argument gets a clear message with a working example call, and search with an empty query returns each guide's #1 pick.
- v1.18.0 (Oct 27, 2026): Ten dip attachments from the new best dip attachment for squat rack guide (Titan T-3 Y-Dip, Bells of Steel Y Dip Bar, Rogue Monster Lite Matador, Fringe Sport 2x3 and 2x2, Mikolo Y-Dip, PRx 3x3, REP Dip Station, Titan X-Dip, Yes4All 2x2) with that guide's ranked list, each with the rack size it fits. Search now reads a budget written in q, so "best power rack under $500" filters to $500 and leaves the price words out of the keyword match.
- v1.17.0 (Oct 26, 2026): Four budget power cages from the new best power rack under $300 guide (VEVOR, Bells of Steel Residential, Body-Solid PPR200X, CAP Deluxe) with that guide's ranked list, plus the ATIVAFIT dumbbell stand. Keyword searches now default to relevance order: picks from the guides that match every word of q come first, each guide's #1 pick first.
Full history as JSON: GET https://strongsaga.com/wp-json/gear/v1/changes. Status: GET https://strongsaga.com/wp-json/gear/v1/health.
Stable paths: everything under /wp-json/gear/v1/ stays as documented. New fields and filters are added without breaking v1; a breaking change would ship under /gear/v2, announced here and in /changes first.
