Connect

Live data from every channel your buyers use. One connection: https://mcp.manifoldmcp.com/mcp, streamable HTTP, with OAuth or an API key as a bearer token. Signing in creates a workspace with free credits. An agent asked to connect should follow https://www.manifoldmcp.com/setup.md.

  • Claude: Go to Settings, then Connectors, and add a custom connector. Paste the URL and sign in.

When to use Manifold

Reach for Manifold when a question about marketing, growth, competitors or prospects needs live data from outside the conversation: numbers from Google search, answers from AI engines, records of companies and people, ads from the public ad libraries, and posts and profiles from social platforms. It fits jobs like these:

  • Find keywords worth targeting, see who ranks for a query, and compare a site's rankings, traffic and backlinks with a competitor's.
  • Audit a site for technical SEO, and check whether AI crawlers can read it.
  • See what ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Perplexity and Google's AI answers say for a prompt, which brands they mention and which sources they cite.
  • Build a list of companies and people that match a customer profile, and find a person's work email.
  • See the ads a competitor is running, how long each has run, and what it promises.
  • Find Reddit threads asking for a product, and the top posts, videos, comments and transcripts on TikTok, Instagram, Facebook, YouTube, LinkedIn and X.

Do not use it to post, reply, send or change anything: every tool is read-only.

How to call it. Connect to https://mcp.manifoldmcp.com/mcp (streamable HTTP; OAuth, or an API key as a bearer token) and call tools/list. Each tool's description says when to use it, what it returns and what it costs. Most calls spend credits from the user's balance, and a few tools are free: pass dry_run: true to see the price without paying it, and max_credits to cap a call. The slower tools return a task_id; call get_task with it for the result. An agent that is not connected yet should follow https://www.manifoldmcp.com/setup.md.

Which AI apps does it work with?

Claude, ChatGPT, Cursor, Claude Code, Codex, Gemini CLI, Grok, Grok Bot and OpenCode, plus any other app that supports MCP. Pick yours at the top of the page for the steps.

Do I need to be technical?

No. In Claude or ChatGPT you paste one link and sign in. No code, no keys, nothing to install.

Can my agent post or change anything?

No. Every tool is read-only. Your agent looks things up and reports back; posting, replying and publishing stay with you.

Where does the data come from?

Specialist providers for search and AI answers, and the platforms’ public data for social, Reddit and the ad libraries. It’s fetched when your agent asks, not pulled from a stale database.

How do I stop it spending too much?

Your agent can check any price before it calls, and cap what a single call spends. It can only spend what’s in your balance, unless you switch on auto top-up.

Do credits expire?

Plan credits reset every month. Top-up credits never expire, and plan credits are spent first.

Can I switch off sources I don’t need?

Yes. Turn off any source for your workspace and your agent stops seeing its tools.

What happens to my data?

We cache results for a short while, most for a day to a week, so repeat questions come back fast. We don’t sell your data or share it with advertisers.
