Can the AI break my site?

It can make a mistake, like anyone who edits a site. So changes are recorded and can be rolled back, risky changes are tested and reverted, and if a plugin crashes the site, rescue mode lets your AI app in. A few actions can’t be called back, such as a sent e-mail; PowerWP marks those in the log.

Why is the Free plan read-only?

So you see what your AI app finds on your site before it can change anything. When you want fixes made, upgrade with the same key.

Do I need to know how to code?

No. You ask in plain words; the AI app does the technical part and explains what it did.

Which AI apps work?

Claude (claude.ai, the Claude app and the phone apps) and ChatGPT connect by signing in to your site. Claude Code, Codex, Cursor, VS Code, Devin Desktop, Gemini CLI, Kimi Code and LM Studio connect with one message or one click, and other apps that support remote MCP servers work too.

Is the AI included?

No. You use your own AI app and its plan, or a free model on your own computer.

Does PowerWP see my content or customers?

No. Your AI app talks to your site directly. Our update check sends technical details only, never content, orders or customers.

Does it work with my theme and page builder?

Yes. It works at the WordPress level, including pages built with the block editor. Elementor pages get their own tools: your AI app edits them widget by widget.

Will my AI app remember my rules?

Yes. Put your rules and the facts about your business in the site memory once, and every AI app you connect gets them. By default apps only propose additions, and you approve them.
